I leave my toaster on the counter and like the black so that it is not as noticable. The toasting bay is long enough to do 4 slices of toast, or 2 slices of "artisian" shaped breads. The bagel feature is great! The outside of the bagel is nicely warmed with the inside toasted. We're spoiled now from this toaster! The defrost setting also works well. It makes the best, most evenly toasted toast I think I've ever had.
